In many situations, the recipient of an Honorary Doctorate degree already has extensive training and expertise in the study. In some situations, though, the degree is given to someone who has never had any formal education.

An Honorary PHD, especially from a large university, is a significant acknowledgment of one’s abilities and services. In addition, an honorary doctorate can help a person get notoriety in the public eye and help them find work in their area.
2.Enough Public Notoriety For Reinforcing Their Existing Qualifications-
Honorary doctorates allow their holders to use the title “Dr.” in front of their names, while some believe this is insulting to individuals who have earned doctorates.
Some honorary doctorate recipients adopt the title “Dr.” to underline their credentials and gain recognition.
3.Restrictions On The Use Of Honorary Degrees-
An honorary doctorate does not entitle the holder to practice in an area where she has not received training. For example, an honorary degree holder cannot practice medicine, architecture, or theology without a formal education.
Because most honorary degree recipients are already specialists or experts in their fields, they rarely use their honorary doctorates for anything other than recognition.
